Treasury Team Leader

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide advice to internal customers (functions or businesses) in various Treasury areas. Each day, you will identify and suggest process improvement opportunities to minimize and reduce risks. You will also showcase your expertise by implementing appropriate financial instruments and transactions required to manage the risk.

We are strengthening the Global Trade Finance Development Center (TFDC) as Center of Expertise (CoE) for Export & Trade Finance processes in Kraków. We are looking for talented and self-driven candidates who would like to contribute to this event and be part of this great undertaking.

This role is contributing to the Trade Finance Delivery Center in EMEA region. Main stakeholders are banks and internal ABB project managers from various businesses.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Being part of the operational team in the area of Export and Trade Finance
• Processing financial instruments such as: guarantee and counter-guarantee
• Supporting local business with day-to-day activities
• Liaising with ABB core banks
• Being a single point of contact for banks with respect to process related topics
• Working with key members of the business to identify areas for improvement
• Participating in various treasury projects as a part of the project team

Qualifications for the role

• At least 3-5 years of experience in administration and handling of Trade Finance instruments
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Treasury
• University degree in Finance, Banking, Treasury Management, Economics or relevant
• Knowledge and usage experience of URDG, UCP (nice to have)
• You possess solid user knowledge in Excel and Windows applications
• You present good communication skills and experience in daily contacts with third parties
• You demonstrate good presentation skills
• You are at ease communicating in English
• Ability to speak German or Italian will be considered as an asset
• You hold current VISA/work permit valid in Poland
