
Job Description
The Role:
The Buyer is in charge of tactical activities from various spend categories with the special emphasis to Professional Services category. Operational activities are performed on a rotational basis according to a pre-defined planning and based on individual skills.
Responsibilities:
- Working with Category Managers to ensure business needs and strategic objectives are met.
- Handling contracts and sourcing in various categories with emphasis on Professional Services according to Euroclear Group Policies and Procedures.
- Educating your stakeholders on P2P process to follow to secure risks related non-compliant purchases.
- Maintaining good relations with internal customers and suppliers.
- Contributing actively to building a high performing professional procurement department that really acts as a team across all categories and fields.
- Collaborating with other category partners and the entire procurement team to build an integrated procurement process and organization interface.
- Initiating ideas to improve overall working of category and procurement processes.
Your Profile:
- Experience in sourcing activities (knowledge of category Professional Services is a plus)
- Experience in contract clauses negotiations.
- Sensitive to the confidentiality of information and ethics are key to you.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Capability to work under pressure.
- High level of ownership and being an advisor in your area of expertise.
- Proficiency in English (both written and oral). French and/or Dutch are an asset.
- Analytical skills and attention to details.
- Excellent teammate.
We are open to hire graduates with their first internship experience. Preferred fields of study: International Relations, International Business, Foreign trade.
