YOUR ROLE

• Developing and maintaining web applications using Java, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Integrating APIs and ensuring smooth data flow
• Implement best practices for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud)
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers
• Conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve the user experience
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our products

YOUR PROFILE

• 4-5 years of experience as a Developer with a portfolio of web applications
• Experience with mobile-first and responsive design
• Proficiency with Java and fundamental front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Additional advantage would be understanding of modern frameworks (e.g. React, Angular)
• Solid understanding of CX/UX principles and experience with user-centered design
• Understanding of security best practices in web development
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Experience with cloud platforms, e.g. Azure or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English – communicative level (B2) is a minimum
• Communicative German would be a plus
• A degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
