Why this role
As Master Data Manager you play a key role in centralizing data sources and streamlining different data types into a unified database to drive strategic data initiatives. This is achieved by managing product attributions, mapping activities, data validation processes which are essential for enabling global reporting and cross-source analysis.
In close collaboration with markets, regions, IT, and GBS teams, you will oversee the entire data integration process, encompassing retail audit data, wholesaler, consumer and other categories. You will implement strategies to improve data quality and processing speed over time, champion process improvements and drive necessary changes. Additionally, you will manage the expansion of data coverage by adding new markets to the scope and facilitate changes in existing markets, including adjustments to KPIs and data sources. Finally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality and availability across all commercial indicators

As Master Data manager you will be responsible for:
- Product & Data Management: Define product attributes, oversee data mapping to ensure consistent product representation
- Data Integration & Expansion: Lead new market additions, product group inclusions, and data source changes within the data management system
- Data Quality & Availability: Define & monitor KPIs to measure data quality and availability for existing markets
- OneData & Change Management: Manage requests for modifications to the data platform (OneData) and ensure smooth implementation
- Data Validation: Establish and manage data validation processes to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in the product data
- People management: Manage direct reports and develop a strong bench of potential subordinates, seek for improvements in engagement and overall climate in the tea
- Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on master data standards, governance, and priorities. Facilitate clear communication, manage expectations, and drive engagement to support data quality and operational efficiency
- Other: Manage tasks and projects, as they arise and upon manager’s request, within and cross-functional related but not only to CoE / DataStream
Skills and experience you bring
- Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics or IT as an educational background
- 3+ years minimum experience working with Nielsen data, consumer tracker data, and product mapping, focusing on strategic insights. Tobacco industry experience is a plus
- Strong command of English Language (oral and written)
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management skills, able to manage well the details and quality without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Extensive product knowledge (JTI & Competitor) across Combustibles & Reduced Risk Products
- MS Office (Advanced Excel and PPT)
- Power BI Proficiency
- SAP Proficiency
- Automation / Macro / SQL would be an advantage
