Requirements:
- University degree in commercial/ business, legal, or technical subject, or equivalent professional certifications / practical experience in trade compliance or SAP GTS
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience with SAP GTS or similar trade control compliance systems (e.g., in a multinational manufacturing or export-oriented company)
- Demonstrated ability to apply trade regulations in day-to-day operations, including classification, licensing, and transaction screening
- Proven track record in managing trade compliance topics, particularly sanctions and export controls, including resolving flagged transactions and supporting system-based controls
- Experience working in an international, complex, cross-functional business environment with a global footprint
- Expertise in embedding processes and controls related to regulatory requirements, with a deep understanding of trade control regulations (e.g. import/export controls, dual-use goods, licensing)
- Strong working knowledge of logistics, finance, Customs (including brokers), and international transportation workflows, with practical experience coordinating across these functions
- [For more experienced candidates] Exposure to internal or external audits, investigations, or compliance reviews related to trade controls
- [For more experienced candidates] Experience leading or supporting SAP GTS implementation or enhancement projects, and mentoring junior team members or business users
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- SAP user skills; SAP GTS or other GTMS experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of customs procedures, HS, ECCN, EU Dual-Use, and other trade controls' classifications
- Working knowledge of import/export licensing processes
- Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements and develop solutions for complex trade compliance issues
- Data accuracy and integrity in compliance systems
- Familiarity with trade control regulations, including sanctions and export controls
- Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies in a global business environment
