Your role
This is a newly created role within the Tax & Statutory team, designed to strengthen our client's global tax and statutory reporting capabilities. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of tax and statutory data across multiple jurisdictions.
You will work at the intersection of GBS operations, in-market finance teams, external Service Providers, with a strong focus on governance, quality, and continuous improvement.
Your tasks
- Lead and develop a small team, ensuring high-quality tax and statutory reporting delivery.
- Coordinate reporting activities with key stakeholders, including Group Tax and the Head of Tax & Statutory Delivery.
- Oversee the full statutory and tax reporting cycle (statutory accounts, CIT, VAT/indirect taxes, group tax reporting, queries, ETR).
- Provide accurate financial data to external service providers for tax filings and statutory accounts.
- Strengthen governance and controls, maintaining robust documentation aligned with the Tax Governance Framework.
- Lead initiatives focused on process optimization, standardization, and automation.
- Prepare and review complex GL entries (accruals, provisions, allocations, non-standard postings).
- Report regularly to the Tax, Transfer Pricing & Statutory Reporting Manager.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for EMEA tax processes, ensuring compliance with regional tax regulations and collaborating closely with EMEA market finance teams and service providers.
Your profile
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tax and statutory reporting within an international environment (preferably SSC/BPO).
- Proven fluency in English (C1 written and spoken).
- Demonstrated experience working with EMEA tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Strong expertise across statutory reporting, corporate income tax, VAT/indirect taxes, withholding taxes, group tax reporting, and forecasting.
- Solid understanding of month-end processes and trial balance preparation.
- Experience working with or managing outsourced tax and compliance providers.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial data flows.
- Hands-on experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g., SAP, CFIN).
- Nice to have: advanced knowledge of Alteryx & additional languages (German/Spanish/French).
