Requirements
- proven experience as an HR Director/Manager in retail industry,
- strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and inspire,
- high energy, positive mindset, and the ability to energize others,
- strong business acumen with a commercial and strategic mindset,
- hands-on approach combined with a “helicopter view” of the organization,
- structured, analytical, and skilled in project management,
- ability to drive change and deliver results in a dynamic environment,
- solid HR toolkit and understanding of modern HR practices,
- fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- oversaw all Human Resources functions for an organization employing 2,800 people across retail stores, field operations, headquarters, as well as an HR and H&S team of 14 specialists,
- executed global HR policies and initiatives locally, leading HR teams and coordinating the delivery of strategic projects,
- developed and introduced recruitment, learning & development, talent management, performance review, and incentive programs to support employee growth and organizational capability,
- managed compensation and benefits structures, including salary benchmarking and reviews, job evaluation/grading, budgeting for annual increases, bonus schemes, and additional employee benefits,
- monitored and analyzed key HR indicators such as employee turnover, absenteeism, engagement levels, and recruitment effectiveness (time-to-hire),
- acted as a trusted HR advisor and business partner for leadership and management teams,
- strengthened organizational culture in line with global company values by driving initiatives focused on employee engagement, satisfaction, and employer branding,
- supported business transformation projects, including HR digitalization initiatives and the introduction of AI-driven and process optimization solutions,
- ensured HR policies and procedures remained compliant with current labor law and regulatory requirements,
- coordinated collaboration between local and global HR teams to maintain consistency and alignment of HR strategies and initiatives across the organization.
