About the department
Complex Securities Support Team plays key roles in research and onboarding of new securities. The team administers and supports Franklin Templeton’s most complex investments such as derivatives and structured products. It operates through the Complex Security Operations Committee (CSOC), a cross-organizational group from key functional areas.
How you will add value
Core Responsibilities
- You will support the Complex Securities Lead in managing CSOC.
- You will work with SMEs on research and testing of new securities.
- You will document research results as business and system requirements.
- You will support PMO in roles such as SME, business analyst, tester.
- You will support operational teams with processes and troubleshooting.
- You will develop new processes and enhance workflows.
- You will solve complex operational problems.
- You will provide updates and reports to management.
What will help you be successful in this role
Experience, Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
- 3+ years in financial services or securities operations.
- Experience with derivatives or structured products.
Technical Skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
- Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar tools.
- Basic SQL or Python is a plus.
- Experience with SharePoint or Power Platform is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
