IT Operations Specialist,
Location: Gdynia, Poland
We are looking for an IT Operation Specialist to join Nordea’s Control Center team in Gdynia. The team’s mission is to make sure Nordea’s systems are running smoothly and all deviations are handled as effectively as possible, because we care about our customers.
The position we offer
Your primary task will be to keep an eye on IT infrastructure, including it’s crucial components (Core Banking, Card systems, e-Banking). You will:
- react upon issue discovery in accordance to existing standards
- assist in production level incidents resolution
- develop and integrate IT monitoring systems
- develop means of automation (scripting)
- support production systems based on various platforms (Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris, VMWare, even MainFrame)
- analyse performance indicators

The qualifications you need
As an IT Operation specialist you’ll need:
- Experience in a similar position (IT Monitoring, 2nd level service support, ServiceDesk)
- Fluency in English
- Good communication skills
- To be able to work in shifts
- To be able to take short international business trips
- Experience in managing Windows/Linux environments
You’ll have an easy on-boarding if you know ITIL and/or any of these tools:
- Tivoli Omnibus
- Zabbix
- BMC Remedy
- UC4/Automic
