To enable our growth, we are creating a new IT hub in Gdansk, Poland. That is why we are looking for you to join about 40 other IT specialists, including SAP consultants, project managers, agile coaches and developers, to deliver great results within e.g. SAP, web and mobile.

An experienced Senior On-site Supporter, who will play an important role in the success of on-site IT services delivery

We are looking for a Senior On-site Supporter to ensure proper IT infrastructure functioning in Arla. Your work will be primary located in the Shared Service Center in Gdansk, but occasionally, you could visit our other Polish entities, like in Warsaw or Tychowo, or from time to time, be involved in international projects requiring some presence in e.g. our HQ in Denmark, or other sites to collaborate with your colleagues in On-site Support.

Your main tasks will concern:

  • Managing daily regional 1st and 2nd level support activities, on-site and remotely
  • Coordinating tickets with internal contact persons and external vendors
  • Working for and maintaining the decided Arla standards and ensuring that processes, methods and tools are followed at the region
  • Participating in selected projects
  • Managing regional assets, and developing and maintaining descriptions
  • Adding value to the business and supporting with effectiveness ideas
  • Documenting solutions and changes in processes, problems and daily work
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and regional vendors
  • Ensuring the availability, accuracy and security of local systems
  • Supervision of local systems (e.g. Invoice scanner)

IT Helpdesk expertise and great collaboration skills

You are able to understand diverse incident and problem resolutions within some areas, whilst demonstrating strong analytical skills combined with a strong knowledge of the subject area and with the ability to service senior stakeholders in a professional manner.

Furthermore:

  • You have a higher education degree from IT or similar business area
  • You have a previous work experience in IT Support or handling different projects
  • You have a practical knowledge of Microsoft Win10, MS O365 and user account management tools
  • You communicate in English effortlessly, both spoken and written
  • You have strong ITIL understanding and business process knowledge
  • Practical experience using ServiceNow will be advantageous
