Job Description
  • Work with the Manager to manage and publish weekly and monthly ad sales reports on revenue and other KPIs
  • Weekly Ad Sales revenue report preparation and publication to international senior management
  • Monthly Ad Sales KPI report preparation and publication
  • Regular preparation of other Ad Sales related reports
  • Database construction, maintenance and regular data cleansing
  • In addition to these tasks the Analyst should contribute to the continual development of current and future reporting tools and process design
  • Assist the Manager in budgeting, forecasting and month end processes
  • Month end ad sales performance analysis
  • Annual budget support through templates preparation / coordination of local submissions / validation
  • To achieve the above the Analyst will need to:Work closely with Finance and Ad Sales teams across the regions, develop, prepare, distribute and collate complex templates, The Analyst should contribute to the development of financial reporting, budgeting and reforecasting tools
  • Assist the Manager in supporting the Ad Sales business across EMEA. The Analyst will support the Manager in any other ad hoc work, preparing data, analysis and presentations
  • This will be less structured and less regular than the above. It is estimated to take up 20% of the role with the following examples of tasks:Requests for Ad Sales information and analysis, Collection and analysis of data from regional offices, Research and analysis on markets and businesses for projects and business plans
The Successful Applicant
  • Have excellent academic qualifications with a degree in a numeric or business related subject
  • Have knowledge of ad sales markets and some comprehension of key metrics such as sell out, pricing, ratings and share
  • Be able to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure while showing excellent attention to detail
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with proven record of effectively presenting to both senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proven ability to distil complex findings into a 'story' with actionable findings to support commercial decision making
  • Show MS Excel skills to an advanced level
  • A few years' experience working in media, consultancy or finance
