We are looking for candidates to work in reporting team that will be responsible for supporting migration from legacy AS/400 accounting system to new SAP HANA based solution.

As Data Management specialist you will be part of project team responsible for implementation of new accounting software in ArcelorMittal Italia in Milano, Italy. Your mission will be to support the accountants in the project team by helping them to interface with AS/400 database and extract the needed information using Microsoft Access. Key skill for this position is knowledge of MS Access, ability to build queries, models, understanding data relationships. Your role in the team will be to fully support the accountants with extracting the information from AS/400. Additionally, any automation of existing reports & solutions will be much appreciated (for instance implementation of Power Query / Power BI models).

Responsibilities:

• Understand/monitor/audit complete data processing flow from legacy AS/400 information systems
• Acquire understanding of business model design in both the data collection and export (accounts, dimensions, measures, phases, periods, etc).
• Understand all data collection/ mapping/ transformation/ loading rules.
• Guarantee that data reported out of the AS/400 applications are delivered on time, in full and in quality
• Support end-users and accounting specialists for any issue related to data quality
• Define standards in terms of reporting configuration/design/formatting
• Propose and implement enhancements based on Excel VB macros and/or Power Query / Power BI (part of continuous improvement activities) to automate report  generation/ refreshing/ formatting/ publication/ distribution/ printing
• Design queries and report layouts. Check consistency of data quality.
