For our Client, an international pharmaceutical company with a stable position at the market, we are looking for an expert who will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supporting the Indirect Tax compliance processes for the EMEA regions.
Responsibilities:
- independent preparing and submitting indirect tax returns,
- VAT calculating and reporting activities,
- accounting activities concerning all tax issues, including general control checks to assure the correctness of all procedures,
- act as the first point of communication with the third-party service providers,
- preparing the Intrastat declaration,
- cooperating with auditors and coordinating the supply of information and responses to queries,
- building a strong relationship with key stakeholders,
- resolving and escalating issues timely and effectively,
- identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities within the Tax field.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance and Accounting or equivalent,
- at least 4 years’ experience in the VAT department,
- good knowledge of the European VAT framework,
- very good command of English (C1 level),
- experienced with SAP is required,
- proficiency in Excel MS Office,
- analytical skills and attention to details,
- strong communication and presentations skills,
- demonstrated a continuous improvement mindset and drive for excellence.
