Job Description
- Responsibility for the structure, vision and strategy within RtR area
- Development and standardization of accounting policies and procedures for EMEA region
- Interpret and roll out accounting policy and standards
- Ensure high quality and efficient transaction processing, accounting and reporting services to the business
- Responsibility of managing, coordinating and reviewing the financial close process
- Monitoring balance sheet financial planning process
- Preparing quarterly balance sheet account reviews for Corporate team at a regional level
- Playing a key role in the preparation of financial statements
- Resolving technical accounting issues
- Supporting statutory reporting process
- Maintaining and monitoring key finance operation process performance metrics and leading and driving business process continuous improvement projects.
- Monitoring internal control compliance in the region
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, customer stakeholder management,
- Managing relationships with key finance and business stakeholders, acting as a partner to the business
- Liaison with external auditors and actuaries
- Lead ad-hoc projects as needed
- Managing RtR structure and team within Center of Excellence
- Coach and develop team members and perform quarterly performance reviews.
- Shape a culture of innovation, change, execution excellence and excitement within an experienced team.
The Successful Applicant
- Master degree in Finance or Accounting
- Min. 7 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Professional experience in managerial positions at the senior level
- Proficient in reading / interpreting financial statements and analyzing performance
- Team mentoring and coaching experience
- Leader personality and ability to empower people
- Previous senior stakeholders exposure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP & Accounting Systems
- Cross cultural awareness, international experience
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced and changing environment
