We’re looking for a Product Manager to:
• co-develop a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap covering the full product development lifecycle (including creation, version and infrastructure upgrades, and eventual decommissioning)
• drive the development and implementation of new products and product changes iteratively and continuously together with cross-functional team members in the pod
• act as product owner within an agile team, participating in agile ceremonies and ensuring the product requirements are clear to designers and engineers.
• ensure the product is being tested together with clients to gain insights and ensure readiness to launch before market entry (e.g., UX testing, end user testing and research insights)
• support pod Objective and Key Results and provide relevant product measurements and metrics to meet overall business goals
• ensure the quality and compliance of the product, from also a technical and non-functional requirement (i.e. production stability, performance, maintainability)
Your team
You’ll be working in the Credit Risk Models Stream within Securities Backed Lending (SBL) & Other Traded Products Models Crew in Kraków or Wrocław, Poland.
We develop, refine, implement and maintain mathematical, statistical and stress testing models to measure credit risk of the UBS Investment Bank portfolios for regulatory and business steering purposes. We interact with a number of departments across the bank including Front Office, Finance, IT, Credit Risk Control. For the development of our methodologies, we use techniques from quantitative risk management, financial mathematics and econometrics.

Your expertise
• experience in business analysis and project management (ideally more than 2 years)
• academic background (Master’s or PhD’s degree) in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics)
• experience in the delivery of complex products to clients, ideally within the financial industry
• knowledge of some programming languages such as Python, R, SQL is a plus
• ability to work under pressure, without supervision and to manage deliverables with competing priorities
• working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product management
• setting and delivering on outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key results) team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
