Responsibilities:
- develop and implement a technology roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals,
- lead the development and implementation of technology solutions that support the growth and success of the company,
- provide technical guidance and support to other departments and teams, and ensure that they have the tools and resources they need to be successful,
- manage the company’s technology budget and ensure that technology and infrastructure is effective, efficient, and secure,
- lead, mentor and develop 50FTE people department including 3 software development teams (Scala, Javascript) as well as infrastructure, help desk and IT security areas,
- implement appropriate development and project management methodologies,
- demonstrate ability to recruit, challenge, coach and reward high talents in IT.
Requirements:
- bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science,
- strong leadership skills to effectively steer a company’s technological efforts and developments,
- deep understanding of service-oriented and microservices architectural patterns,
- experience with cloud computing and AWS solutions,
- previous experience as Software Engineer would be an asset,
- excellent organisational skills to successfully coordinate the efforts of a technical group,
- the ability to think strategically and provide technical vision.
