Reporting to the Process Automation (PA) Global Head of Talent, the role will be responsible to partner with PA leaders to provide technical expertise, solutions and Talent Acquisition and Advancement support within the global ABB organization to attract the appropriate workforce to deliver the business strategy.

Your responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for (coordinating) Talent Acquisition and Recruitment for global, business and critical to hire roles. Building an understanding of the global markets for the different business areas and managing a highly efficient recruitment process with Candidates and Hiring Managers across geographies
  • Manage recruitment campaigns, working directly with hiring managers to understand the requirements, and decides on the appropriate sourcing solution
  • Create shortlists of candidates and conducts interviews and assessments with hiring manager
  • Conclude the selection process with the manager and the candidate, including Employment Agreement/Offer Process
  • Understand the global markets for the different business areas and managing a highly efficient recruitment process with candidates and hiring managers across geographies
  • Build strong relationships and trust with senior leaders across the businesses and their Global HR Business Partners
  • Actively advocate for internal Talent Advancement opportunities and contributing to activities as well as educating the organization where needed
  • Liaise with internal executive sourcing and external recruitment firms for specific positions as required and ensures their capabilities for market mapping and recruitment support in the various geographic Regions
  • Perform excellent Stakeholder Management with a wide range of stakeholders across geographies and levels, including Global Senior Executives
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation and HR policies, GDPR and any other data privacy requirements, and adherence to compliance standards in all areas of responsibility
  • Support timely data analytics and reporting activities to manage candidate pipeline and other recruitment metrics

Your background

  • Higher education with at least 6-7+ years’ professional HR experience in a high performing global organization, international search firm or an RPO company. A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience with full lifecycle recruiting including job brief, developing sourcing/marketing plan, candidate outreach and development, employment agreement process
  • Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies and techniques, including use of digital and social media
  • Strategic mindset with a thorough understanding of business drivers and Talent Acquisition and Advancement trends, as well as strong end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing change projects
  • Ability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders globally; exceptional communication skills, strong customer service orientation with proven consulting and influencing skills
  • Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs
  • Brings along a high degree of independent stakeholder management (internal & external), excellent intercultural communication skills/sensitivity to geographical difference in talent acquisition
  • Ability to think outside the box and always delivering pragmatic solutions to daily challenges faced by stakeholders
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal, additional languages are an advantage
