Requirements:

• proven experience in leadership of an engineering team – preferably within the composite manufacturing environment,
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred,
• proven proficiency in 3D design and 2D documentation,
• strong understanding of project development/product engineering phases
• excellent communication and collaboration skills,
• familiarity with international standards related to engineering processes,
• fluent English in written and spoken form,
• structured and precise working style.

Responsibilities:

• lead, mentor and oversee the full engineering team – ensuring the quality of work in 3D design, 2D documentation, manufacturing engineering as well as further documentation based on the customer’s and project-specific needs,
• develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of Faserplast Composites,
• establish and enforce guidelines for the quality control and production documentation process in coordination to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer specifications,
• support CTO in technical leadership by defining and implementing guidance on composite materials, manufacturing technologies, and engineering best practices,
• implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in engineering processes as well as documentation flow,
• collaborate with different departments, namely production, purchasing and project management, as well as the customers to understand their unique engineering requirements and provide tailored solutions that address their specific needs.
