We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Tax Reporting & Compliance Representative I to join our Regulatory Reporting Team  team. This role is located in Wroclaw- HYBRID

Department/Team overview                                                                            

The Regulatory Reporting Team has been set up in response to the increased regulatory reporting requirements for Investment Funds domiciled in Holland. The increased focus on regulatory reporting stems from both the European Central Bank (“ECB”) and the Dutch Central Bank (“DNB”). 

The Regulatory Reporting services includes the production of the reporting guidelines of MESRAP / MER, Solvency II lite and EIOPA. The production of the reports is according to the regulatory reporting standards, which involves the completion of the regulatory templates and execution of all checks and controls.

The Team provides regulatory filings to the DNB on monthly, quarterly and annual basis, coordinates ad-hoc queries and requests from the regulator or clients; manages reporting process ensuring deadlines set across the industry are met.

Clients included are insurance companies, pension funds and investment fund managers. These asset owners have the obligation to report to the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) and the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) on their transactions, positions, receivables, and payables as well as their profit and loss account details on a monthly, quarterly, and annual base.

On a day-to- day basis team ensures submissions are completed according to guidelines and procedures   

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Extensive training package on real estate fund accounting.
  • Working in an international environment, both within the Poland team, as well as in other teams. 
  • Familiarize with corporate culture 
  • Working and learning from professionals   
  • Multiple behavioral training     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance/compliance or the equivalent combination of education and experience would be an asset.
  • 0-2 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • General knowledge around economy, financial markets and accounting
  • High motivation & willingness to learn and work within the team 
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills 
  • Understanding and prior experience in Excel highly expected
