About the department

The Portfolio Compliance team protects the firm by ensuring investment restrictions are consistently met across mutual funds and segregated client accounts. The team supports Franklin Templeton’s risk management framework by monitoring regulatory, client, and internal policy requirements. Through daily portfolio reviews and pre-trade controls, the department helps safeguard the organization from compliance breaches while enabling investment teams to operate efficiently.

We are looking for an individual for a 12‑month fixed-term contract, with a requirement to work from the Poznañ office at least three days per week.

How you will add value

Core Responsibilities

  • You will monitor portfolios to ensure compliance with investment restrictions.
  • You will review and investigate daily compliance exceptions.
  • You will escalate issues and track incidents to resolution.
  • You will ensure trade and compliance data accuracy.

 Strategic Responsibilities

  • You will improve monitoring systems and compliance processes.
  • You will assess controls to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You will implement regulatory updates, including ESG and UCITS requirements.

Team & Collaboration

  • You will support portfolio managers, traders, and investment risk teams.
  • You will act as a contact for the European Equity Trading Desk.
  • You will collaborate with operations, fund accounting, and technology teams.

What will help you be successful in this role

Experience

  • Experience in investment management or a related financial services role.
  • Exposure to portfolio compliance, middle office, or NAV analysis.

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with order management systems such as Charles River or Aladdin.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot data issues.

Soft Skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Shift: 9am - 5.30pm
