ROCKWOOL Global Business Service Center (RGBS) is part of the ROCKWOOL Group and is providing financial and IT services within ROCKWOOL. Processes managed within our SSC in financial area: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Master Data and Banking. The company offers opportunity to grow within one process or in the future also cross – process options are possible. Our clients are spread around Europe so there are options to practice different language skills. We are located in Poznan, Poland.

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant position based in our Poznań location to join the Accounts Receivable team for a fixed-time contract (12 months).

Your future team

You will join an 8-person team of both junior and senior specialists, working in an international environment. The team focuses on allocating customer payments, supporting multiple OPCOs, and handling sales bonus calculations and payouts.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage incoming payments allocation and customer refunds in line with daily deadlines
  • Support collections processes (e.g. direct debits) and ensure proper documentation and compliance
  • Handle month-end closing activities and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, coordinating with stakeholders and owning issues through to resolution
  • Calculate, reconcile and post accounting documents (e.g. bonus credit notes) within assigned scope
  • Review bonus agreements, reconcile bonus balances and resolve discrepancies
  • Collaborate closely with AR, Controlling and Sales teams
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, KPIs and SLAs
  • Support audits and prepare required documentation
  • Contribute to process improvements, projects and system testing
  • Act as a backup for team members and support daily operations and month-end activities

What you bring:

  • Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written - as an international company, we use English in our daily communication
  • University degree in Banking, Business, Economics or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Familiarity with SAP, Outlook and SharePoint is an advantage
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Team-player approach with a willingness to learn and share knowledge
