General Ledger & Asset Accounting Expert (m/f/d)

About the position:

• Ensuring timely closing of each fixed asset and GL  period end in accordance with IFRS and JSOX requirements;
• End-to-end understanding of core GL and Fixed Asset processes;
• Work with the team to identify areas for continuous improvement to drive productivity and strengthen the control environment across the R2R function;
• Assist Team Lead to manage the governance process  & related controls;
• Support team members in dealing with the complex cases;

Main areas of responsibility:

• Identify training gaps and provide continuous SAP and process training to GBS Accounting and Finance team to enhance others knowledge of the processes and system matters;      
• Support team members in dealing with the complex cases, having End-to-end understanding of core GL and Fixed Asset processes;
• Provide expert advice on relevant SAP modules to both internal and external customers;
• Provide possible solution, enhance others understanding and ensure accurate processes are being conducted;
• Meetings with your external and internal stakeholders to review the process;
• Ensuring timely closing of each fixed asset and GL  period end in accordance with IFRS and JSOX requirements;
• Work with the Team Leads and Specialists on process improvement projects;
• Assist Team Lead in gathering and analysis of KPIs, workload and volumes and manage the governance process & related controls;
• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.
