As a core member of the HR Operations team in ABB Global Business Services (GBS), you will be supporting the Global Service Line Lead to help design, implement and execute best in class processes supporting global payroll activities and projects related finance transformation. Working with variety of stakeholders you will ensure best user experience for internal and external customers and a harmonized and compliant processes across multiple countries.

Your responsibilities

• Driving assigned project tasks with independence, accuracy and speed in payroll related area in collaboration with HR stakeholders as well as other function representatives (eg. Finance)
• Ensure assigned tasks are performed & completed with independence, accuracy and speed, addressing any blockers and/or problems representing risk for the project timeline. Identifying opportunities for improvement based on feedback and experience with the customers and taking the lead on process improvement projects.
• Communicating information regarding policies and standards on assigned processes to internal customers in a clear and concise manner to ensure understanding and adoption.
• Preparation of accurate reports and documents based on project needs.
• Develop Process Expertise in payroll area collaborating on country/cluster/global level for self and team as required
• Work Closely with GSLL's to drive Projects / process improvements and partner with GSLL to deploy designed End-2-End processes for delivery, working with the Operations Team Leads

Your background

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Administration / Finance or other relevant field
• Strong experience in payroll end to end processes (minimum 5 years)
• Project Management
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively across various teams, geographies & cultures as well as independently
• Ability to manage multiple demands on time and work with cross-functional teams.
• Detail- and solutions-oriented approach
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive way of working to serve customers with a “can-do” attitude.
