For our Client, an international Consumer Goods manufacturer which operates in the omnichannel market with a great focus on e-commerce platforms, we are currently looking for a Managing Director. The chosen candidate would be in charge of development and execution of company’s strategy with close collaboration with a local Board of Directors and a Global Headquarters.
Managing Director (E-commerce)
Requirements:
- Master's degree in the field of management or MBA diploma,
- 5–7 years of experience in a similar senior executive leadership role within an e-commerce environment,
- proven track record in managing leading omnichannel or pure e-commerce companies in Poland,
- accustomed to working with advanced business models and modern corporate infrastructure and technology,
- an international mindset is necessary to work with colleagues across the globe,
- excellent modern leadership skill-set and tool-set with the ability to inspire action and build highly engaged and performance-oriented Board of Directors and teams,
- business acumen and ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels with high attention to detail,
- good influencing, people and project management skills as well as analytical and troubleshooting competencies,
- self-starter, positive attitude, and drive for results approach,
- fluency in Polish and English.
Responsibilities:
- develop and execute business strategies to achieve short and long-term ambitious goals by forming exceptional teams and a unique entire customer experience,
- inspire an action together with a local Board of Directors to ensure the company’s long-term vision and mission are achieved,
- advocate the company’s values, mission and vision and act as a role model internally and externally,
- manage budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting to achieve sustainable profitability,
- communicate business priorities, ensure clear expectations, and take ownership of company performance, setting and achieving targets while holding the team accountable,
- drive innovation in product design and operational processes as well as technology to maintain a competitive edge,
- enhance the company's brand image and market positioning through effective marketing and branding strategies,
- maintain positive and trust-based relations with business partners and shareholders on the local and Group levels,
- oversee the company's business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures,
- report directly to the Group Board.
