As a Controlling Specialist - Pricing Operations and Tools, you will play a key role in financial control within the Global Business Services (GBS) in Poland, examining financial results, coordinating the preparation of performance reports and commenting on financial statements for the ABB Electrification (EL) business. Reporting to the Controlling & Planning Team Lead, you will provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts in order to assist business leaders and stakeholders, helping to evaluate the impact of major decisions.

Your responsibilities

• Operation of pricing tools adopted by the EL organization, ensuring data is correctly and timely reported in pricing tools ( e.g. NPV, MPI)
• Extracting and analyzing data from sales/financial tools to measure effectiveness of current pricing strategy (revenue, margin and volume improvement)
• Solutions/services of Pricing applications
• Driving the development of new applications and tools in pricing, as well as ensure, together with the Information Systems (IS) technical team, that the current tools are maintained in alignment with Division, BA and compliance requirements
• Preparing, updating and maintaining Business Intelligence pricing dashboards, providing regular status reports to relevant local and global management
• Defining and communicating processes, guidelines and calendar for periodic data load in alignment with BA and Divisions; Facilitating the local adoption of pricing tools providing change management guidance, training and communication support to the local pricing managers and other stakeholders
• Supporting implementation across the organization and driving/handling deliverables for change management working closely with Divisions, BA and representative at country level, oversights installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional ERP solutions
• Tools deployment/Improvement for Pricing applications by providing guidance and supports the installation and local adoption of new solutions/services or the changing of existing ones for pricing applications
• Providing pricing processes mapping and documentation, in relation to pricing tools, proactively guiding the organization in the optimization of such processes
• Monitoring governance of defined in IS solutions/services in Pricing applications according to RACI specifications, responsible for compliance requirements for data compliance and accuracy, data access and SOD in pricing applications and tools

Your background

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Controlling and/or Pricing
• Advanced Excel skills, pricing tools ( NPV, MPI) knowledge – nice to have
• Understanding of end-to-end process, systems and data flows across organization at business and finance – side
• Proven analytical and organizational skills, ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• High motivation to work in dynamic environment with orientation towards process improvement/simplification
• Excellent communication skills, experience in interacting with process & business stakeholders at various levels, including executive managers
• Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business administration
• Fluency in English – written & spoken
